Ray of Glass Needles - Dancehouse - March 2006

Through the use of two projectors and custom midi controlled and networked video software, both optical and digital layers of video were projected onstage and onto the dancers in this production. A high level of video control was possible, allowing the projections to 'dance' with the dancers themselves, and instantly respond to changes in their movement as well as the soundtrack provided by Philippe Pasquier. The content itself, based on blah blah's video design, was re-shot for this Australian production and provided an organic visual collage in which this primordial performance takes place.
