Trading Post | Sensis - Online Video Tutorials - Flash|AS3 2008

Interactive design, script editing, programming and project management of a team of 7 graphic designers, script writers, sound production and voice over talent.  The brief was to create a dynamic re-usable interface, and provide several video tutorials to help users navigate the new features of the Trading Post website, in particular Auctions and their benefits. Features: XML config files, dynamic menu and button creation, AS2 to AS3 proxy (for control of legacy video content), intelligent split content downloading, dynamic splash screen content.

The Learning Federation | CSIRO - Online Learning Objects - Flash|AS2 - 2006

Programming for 6 online educational interactive modules used across Australia and New Zealand. The brief was to integrate previous core functionality with new content, animations and tutorial problems. The series explored several different applications of force, mass and weight through the use of pulley systems. Features: XML config files, accessibility for movement, sight and hearing impaired, optimized download times.

Hoyts | Pivod - Movie Information Kiosks - Flash|Director - 2005|2006

Programming of movie information kiosks for Hoyts Cinema's at Melbourne Central and Westpoint Shopping Centre (Blacktown, Sydney). Kiosks allow access to preview trailers, session times, movie synopsis' and advertisements for special offers and giveaways via a touchscreen interface. A core requirement of this project was for rock-solid operation under heavy usage from the general public. Features: XML config files, SOAP interface for media downloads, local "pull" download of remote media, multi-codec support, high stability.

Ontario Science Centre | Pivod - Interactive Museum Kiosks - Flash|AS2 - 2004|2005

Programming for 5 interactive science exhibits with sculptural/physical interfaces. The interactives ranged from simple slideshows through to dynamic user comments and interaction. The most complicated interactive featured diary entries from 20+ scientists around the world who chose from 8 page layouts, with text and photos, which were updated daily and could be viewed in a "book" format in both French and English. Features: XML config files, SOAP interface for media and text upload/download, multi-lingual support, dynamic interface creation for menu's and all graphical/text objects, extensibility for any number of users, high stability.
